My father is one of the most brillant men I know. So when I have a random question, he and my best friend are the two I turn to. So yesterday, I had an idea and turn to him. "Dad? I need a lightweight metal that could be pre-fabbed and would resist rusting in a rainforest environment. It needs to be able to be kept cool and contained too. Oh, and be elevated off of the ground."
The man didn't even miss a beat, immediately going into detail as to what metal to use (brushed aluminum panels), as well as what could get through them and where the weak joints would be. He told me how to keep them cooled environmentally, as well as a neat idea for the antagonist in the story.
